bad things with great knives

This thread is for the things that bug us the most about some of our favorite knives.
I guess i'll start with a few, I have owned a ka-bar zhanto for a little over a year now, its a great general purpose knife, but any whitling with it is awful, the spine of the blade is almost like another blade. It will make you thumb so raw, you'll wonder if your project was worth it. Another knife would be the ka-bar pestielence chopper, here's a shocker, this machete is a great chopper, but nothing else, the ax grind is so steep you can barely sharpen a stick with it. And last but not least, the AK-47 bayonet, mine isnt the wood handled version, so my gripes might not be universal, but the square handle profile is not the best, it could definetly be improved. But the chisel grind is a minor annoyance, it's just not my thing.

I don't think anyone here has found a knife that has nothing about it we would change.

That's what a knife nut does.

That said, no knife can be expected to do everything. It's like saying that your Opinel mushroom knife batons poorly is a "bad thing."
