It's been 19 days since I shipped parcel to my friend Keninshiro in Malaysia. Still nothing. In contrast, he shipped to me by Fed Ex, was here in 5 days. Guess I know which service I will use next time.
Just blowing off steam as this is my first experience like this and it's frustrating as heck.

A good rule of thumb Dave..........every order I have shipped to that area, my customer has always requested NOT to use the USPS. As I understand, it is not uncommon for lots of things to come up missing

I have had 100% luck with other countries tho with Global Priority Mail. Sorry to hear of your experience, maybe a good ending will come of it tho!

I sent Eric (kenishiro) a Titanium Crawford KFF via Global Priority, he got it in less than a week. I think its luck of the draw but sending Fed-Ex or the like was @ $40.00. Too much much for shipping for me to eat. Eric sent me something from Malaysia that took almost a month to get here (Hawaii), but it did get here. The delay was customs who tore open the envelope (ruining the check inside) looking for "bombs"? Hope you package makes it there if not I hope you insured it and can start some process at the local post office.

) and still nothing. Even the post office lady is sick of me visiting everyday!

Mike Payne - I have no idea what went wrong this time as i've had 100% receiving rate in my past experiences from USPS Global priority airmail. The longest took only 12 days to reach me and i guess that is why you guys pay like USD$19 to get it shipped! As for normal airmail, i've waited 26 days compared to what i have to go through here.

Hoss - Glad to see you here! After my last transaction with you, i've decided to wire money to sellers anywhere in the world. Faster and cheaper that way...

Keep us posted Eric. I'll be curious to see how it goes. I've had successful orders with RedVenom.....but that FEDEX shipping rate is $$$. Works out to almost the cost of another mid-priced folder. Heck, I had a local package that took over 7 days to get delivered here in town before.

Sure Mike, i'll keep ya' posted. FedEX is a guarantee but we(over this side of the world) have to pay through our nose for the service. Glad your transaction with old RedVenom went well....hope i'm that lucky too or my number is up....

My first (and last) order to go through USPS was over 2 months ago. No sign yet, so its probably S.O.A. (stolen on arrival) - bye bye $200 worth of knives. Kenin, did you read about the Malaysian postal worker who was arrested in March this year with 6 BAGS of mail at his home? Apparently he was rifling thru them looking for cash.

FedEx prices does make my nose bleed but at least it is as certain as anything can be.

As anyone who has dealt with me knows(I hope), I always try my best to make sure the other party is satisfied. I'm wondering how long we should wait before I give him a full refund?

Dave - Theres no need to refund....it's not fair to you either. I guess my luck ran out on this time round'.....
