BAD vs original AD

Just wondering if anyone has both AND used them.:D

I have an older double cut custom shop AD that sees belt time, but more in the kitchen.:rolleyes: It's one helluva slicer and sees plenty of use.

I know the BADs are a bit thinner, but are they noticeably better slicers?

The original ADs are pretty thin themselves, the later ones seemed to chunk up some.

Real world input please. THANKS!

I haven't used my BAD yet but I do use knives of the same size and thickness (RAT 3) for instance. The thinner knife is a better slicer for sure but the AD is a good slicer if sharp and a great all around belt knife. I can't wait for the weekends so I can hang it on the belt. Hope it helps.:thumbup:
