bader III trouble

I recently bought a Bader III grinder, it is 110volt and variable speed. This morning when I went out to work on some blades it quit working on me. I opened the variable speed panel and tested the fuses and one was blown (15A) so I found a new one at the gas station and put it in. I started up the grinder and started back at my blade and it blew again, I went through two more and then gave up. Has any one out there had the same problem. It comes at a very bad time so close to the blade show and I could use all the help I can. I will phone them in the morning but that still leaves today wasted.
Thanks
Claude

Claude, same thing happened to me with my Wilton.
I bought a Minarik controller and a 1 1/2 hp Leeson motor from K&G at Blade 2000. Last year the exact same problem that you're having came up, one fuse kept blowing. I did some research and found out that the controller was not rated for a 1 1/2 hp motor and also that the motor, even though it was a 1 1/2 hp, was only a 90 volt, therefore it could not be wired for 220v. I contacted K&G and talked to them and all they would do is sell me a new controller at thier cost. I later bought a different motor and controller.
It sounds like you'll need to send your controller off for repair. Here's the name and number of an outfit that does that. Q.I.E. 1-800-265-1999

Thanks L6steel
I got in touch with Bader and my grinder runs on 110 and the switches on the controller were in the right position. I took it today to the Leeson dealer in Calgary and they found out that the armeture was shot. They are just waiting for the okay from Bader to fix it, then hopefully everything will be back to normal. Thanks though.
