I have two Bader Space Saver grinders (use 132'' belts) that I picked up at an auction a couple of years ago when a factory that made wrenches shut down. The factory had mostly 440 power, so I assume that is what these are set up for. I had planned to replace the motors, but have yet to get around to it. I will try to get some pictures up soon. Local pick up in Lowell, AR only. $800 obo for each grinder.

Some motors are dual voltage 440 - 220/208
Really good photos of the motor plates would show it they are dual voltage or not.
A 220v 3phase motor would be VFD ready with no fuss.

The motors are 3 phase and the label I could read said 2 hp, and while it says 220/440 I think the factory ran mostly on 440 so that is my assumption. I'll get a picture up tomorrow so you guys can read for yourselves.

How far are you from Branson, Mo? If you still have one the last weekend of September, I'd be interested in getting one from you. I will be attending the Sheperd of the Hills hammer-in hosted by Gary Mulkey that weekend and could drive down to pick it up.

That is a fun one. I'm right at about 2hrs. from the Hammer-in.

Congrats on the hammer- that would keep me busy too

Thanks for the photos

They are both dual voltage

I can't tell if the silver label is 3 phase, but I expect it's the same as the other

The black one certainly would work with a 2HP VFD at 220 3 phase, so if you want variable speed, no need to change motors
