How many of you are going to the Badger knife show in Janesville Wi.?

IT would be nice to put a face with the name.

I'll be there. Thanks for reminding me, I have to make hotel reservations.
 
Health permitting, we hope to drive up for Saturday to see the folks we know and forage the handle-material tables.
 
Liz and I will be there as always, and if I know Mike he will be happy to see her anyways. So Mike, is your wife coming along. You going to meet us for that drink or are you going to put off getting a room again until the last minute.
Anyone on the forums stop by and say hello, I'm the guy dressed as a 1700's woodsman.

I am thinking about going, is it a pretty decent show? I would probably roll out and spend the night either on the friday or saturday.

It would be great to see you there Sean. I would love to meet you in person plus i wouldnt have to spend the whole show talking to Bob.

Hey, it would be good to see you there Sean. We could sit with Kevin Cashen and remember what a great time was had at his place, while we ignore Michael.
And to you Danbo, I resemble that remark ;)
 
Sean, it's a great show! I went in 1999 or 2000 and hooked up with a bunch of Bladeforums people for dinner. It was really fun. I think Reif won Best Folder, if I recall, and one of the BFC guys at dinner had purchased the knife! I guess since it's the only show I've ever been to I can't compare it to anything else, but it seemed pretty great to me.
 
I just made my reservation at the hotel. Me and my buddy are going to be driving out saturday and spending the night. I think it will do us both good to get out of "dodge" for a bit. See you all there.

Oh yeah, I will have my typical Carolina Panthers hat on and my buddy is kinda scarey looking like Mark Williams before he shaved the coon off... ;) :D
