The tan/snake was the pattern that Jerry & Co. put on the website as the featured blade. I've often wondered if more orders are placed on a pattern that the Busse website features in pictures. I wasn't keying on the website pic, however. I wanted the combo specifically to replace a tan/snake SJTAC I sold down Texas way.

Mine has mag g10 handles with a tan blade. So it was pretty expensive 270 or something without shipping =P> Worth every penny. Its my camping knife and it always sits by my computer otherwise. I also got a nice leather sheath for it from chuddy bear. Id post a pic but im too lazy at this time haha

I am jonsing for one also, but I really want mag canvas micarta in the std .187 thickness....preferably muddy/tan, but will take whatever I can get with mag canvas and cg blade.

Thanks to the pics from these guys - Guyon and Lunde - I abandoned my plan to get a basic badger and ponied up the 'late to the party' surcharge for an aftermarket snakeskin one. Next time guys, please keeps the pics to yourself.

The extra $$$ for the SS will be worth it - apparently it was a limited production run of that style of micarta and there won't be any more made.
