Thanks everyone for the comments! Here is a more accurate description of the knife. The blade is 8 5/8 inches long and is nearly 3/8 iinches thick at the spine in front of the guard. It is 14 1/2 inches in overall length and has a brass guard and collar. The guard is oval and fluted. The handle is in the style of Scagel with a stag and cocobolo combination with brass spacers. The sheath is leather and original to the knife. Weight 16.70 oz
