Funny you should mention that...a place out here called "District Chop House" has an awesome oatmeal stout.

Chop House

It's a block and a half away from my office, and one of my favorite places to eat in DC. Scary to think of how many fictional people in our department have had birthdays just so all of us can disappear there for a few hours :D

The Chop House is all right, but nothing to get too excited about. Although I'll have to admit it's a cut above the average brewpub/restuarant.
 
Ever tried Samuel Smith's Oatmeal offering. MMmmmmmm......

Also, we need to try this place in Atlanta... May seem a bit pricy, but a carnivore's dream...

Killer salad bar, and side dishes... and they keep bringing it all til you say stop.........
 
Mike, next time you're here for Indy (and I make it there :rolleyes: ) we'll have to hit the Lafayette Brewing Company in Lafayette... Bit of a drive, but well worth it... Best oatmeal stout around, and their sirloin hogies RULE!!! :D :D :D
