I will repeat Readyme's question........are the laplander and expert saws the same???

I did a google image search and the saws are exactly the same to my eye, other than the colour and lettering.

For some reason the Laplander is difficult to get in Oz so I went with a Silky with aggressive teeth. Works a treat!

I would just like to add some important information about the Bahco Expert in Orange vs their green famous Laplander, apparently there is a difference between these saws, the pricier Laplander has a heat treated blade whereas the Expert doesn't. Bahco designed BOTH for cutting woods fresh or dry but the treated Laplander may be used on plastics and other materials also plus it should last longer for more regular use. However the Expert can be upgraded to the Laplander by replacing its blade with the model used on the Laplander. Bahco carry a few blade replacements with the Laplander model being the best for woods due to its teeth profile (same as Expert) and tempered steel.

Actually, the saw blade that comes with the Laplander is meant for harder wood as well as bone. Otherwise you're spot on
