Bahco hatchet. Neat. Not sure if in U.S.

if memory serves correstly, somone went through alot of trouble but eventually got one and they seemed pretty happy with it. i personally dont see it as all that functional, since it has the drawback of a hawk, but is missing one of the hawks major advantages: the ability to remove the head.

I saw it too on the web, and checked a bunch of places, Canadian tire, home depot, reno and rona. Camp de base (local camping store) and various little hardware stores.

and couldn't be found in any of those places in Montreal.

I ended up settling for a fiskar.. but I'm really not dissapointed, I treat it like a baby. ;)

Sportsman's Warehouse sells some more traditional Bahco axes but not that one.

That was me and I still love the thing. Kismet, here is the thread I posted after I got it, sharpened and played with it a little. Hope this answers some of your questions and is of some help! http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=584616&highlight=bahco

Bahco is one heck of a company. I wouldn't mind seeing this in person!
