BAIIIs have returned to normal prices

Maybe...don't claim to know the numbers...but the BA3's & ABA's were mighty sweet! Just about the perfect badgers, and perfect for that niche, IMNSHO.

I agree. My BA3 is what I grab when I want a carry blade a little bigger than the AD. (Except in winter when that ResC howler gets the call)

I'll be glad if the trend finds its way to the exchange. I'm not in any rush to own a BAIII I just don't feel that they're worth roughly the same as the SJ.

Be interesting to see if the original Satin Jacks follow suit. I just haven't been willing to pay what some folks have asked for those knives.

I think they are worth roughly the same as a SJ since they were $197 and $227 respectivly but the SJ just shot up higher in price when some people really put a push on trying to aquire a lot in a relativly short time period. I own and love them both. I personally like my ABA more than I like my SJ.

Just my 2 cents.

How do you know that?

Well Tony, since you asked i will elaborate some, My opinion is that

the older the better back in time when production #s were lower

and Jerry was making them to me thats really important

I personally love A2 tool steel and ATS34 and the

SHBA/ SHMS fit

my hands very well compared to the newer style of knives. I think

someone else said there just like the SHSJ which is correct.

Not a big fan of them either and very very surprised they are

selling for more than a Grail knife. In my humble opinion:D
