I'm not sure what's wrong with me, but I have this bug to buy a nice, fancy folder or 2, and so, some fixed blades that were definite keepers, are, well, no longer keepers, but, maybe they'll become your keepers.
First up is an amazing full size Bradshaw (MS) bowie.
8 1/4" forged blade with perfect grinds, sharp top clip, flawless satin finish, the guard and ferrule are both incredible, heat blued multi-bar twist damascus, the seams where the blade meets the guard are flawless. The handle is beautifully sculpted and contoured top of the line English Walnut, the buttcap is more multi-bar damascus fire blued, the finial screw is heat colored mild steel. By unscrewing the finial screw, the handle can be removed for cleaning.
This bowie is dead mint, as purchased from Knife-Art about a year ago, and it is razor sharp. You will love this bowie, as I do. If not, just return it for a refund.
I want $1195 including fully insured, 2-day shipping. Bailey's prices have nowhere to go but up.
A very fair price for a bowie of this quality from a top MS,
Next up is a rare Hossom, an "Awesome Hossom" if you will.
Gorgeous grinds on this double edged, 5.5" Combat Stiletto in the harder to find CPM 3V, which Jerry feels is the best steel you can get. The F&F on the knife is absolutely flawless, no surprise there. The handle is so comfy it's scary, and is made of beautiful, nicely patterned deep grayish/black canvas Micarta, the pattern barely shows in the pic, it's much more distinctive in person. Finishing touch are 3 of his special mosaic pins per side. (Jerry uses nicer mosaic pins than the typical ones you see.) The handle of course has a built-in skull crusher, blade has his famous hand rubbed satin finish. Comes with a very well made kydex holster with Tek-Lock. This one is tough to let go, but I will, for $695 shipped, firm.
I greatly prefer payment by US Postal money orders, but, if you must use PayPal, please add the 3%.
First to email and say they'll take it, gets the knife.
Thanks for looking, here are the pics.
