Master Smith Bailey Bradshaw,"Laredo" slipjoint,really gorgeous,perfectly matched stag scales.3-3/4" closed,6-1/2" open,with a 2-3/4" blade of forged 52100.No half stop,just a smooth open close snap,with the perfect amount of tension,blade is centered perfectly,and this blade is razor sharp.All brushed satin finish,in excellent condition,no scratches,and really nice,I must say.

Wow, a BB for less than $1,000? That is a deal!! Wish I had the $;I'd be all over it!
On the edge,I had a brief discussion, about the pricing,of this knife,on the phone with Bailey,(while purchasing another small folder from him for well under $1000.00). I feel I have this knife priced correctly, after talking with him.Yes,though,it is still a deal,at that price, don't forget the wait time, too.A possible deal,is in negotiation, but it is still available,at this point.Any potential buyer/trader,will be next in line,if the current negotiation, falls through,Thank You,Vince

In my opinion, Bailey's prices are more than fair, considering the quality of his work.

This seems to be an opportunity for someone to purchase a handmade knife by an ABS Mastersmith (although I don't know when the knife was made) of the first quality. And at an amzaing price. And if anyone is wondering how this would perform as a carry piece, allow me to set your mind at rest. I carry one of Bailey's knives on a daily basis, and it performs quite well.

What shaldag said (as if my friends words need confirmation).

I carry a gunstock by Bailey and am in line for one a little like this with a wharncliff blade. (If not for that this pup would be gone.)
