Hello BF,
All are sold thanks for looking.
I took a small pile of RSK's to Blade... these were left over. Please note the pink camo, it was the only RSK to survive my thread from a month ago, and held a lot of interest at Blade, but, is still around. Instead of re-wrapping it, how about a free pink camo survival bracelet with it (just with this RSK.) The bracelets were made by my 12 year old daughter, they were a huge hit at Blade. She sold out, nearly 50 of them... with more ordered:thumbup:
The RSK came out of my Kinzua model, I ground off the thumb ramp on a Kinzua about 8 months ago, and liked it! I decided to have the blank jet out with a cavity in the center so it could be easily cord wrapped.
The RSK acronym stands for "reserve survival knife", kind of the same concept as the PSK... I liked the way RSK sounded and wanted to differentiate from the PSK a bit anyway.
I am also having handle scales milled out that will fit into the cavity and lock in place, they will be milled on both sides, to fill the cavity on one side and contoured on the other. They should be ready in about 4 weeks and will be interchangeable. Leather sheaths are available, however they are made to fit the blank when it has scales mounted to it.
The knife is ground be hand, by me, and finished to medium scotch-brite. The primary bevel is ground full flat with a convexed secondary bevel.
OAL is 7 5/8 inches and cutting edge is 3 3/8. Stock is 1/8 inches.
These A2 knives (man I am loving A2) are heat treated, cryogenically treated, triple tempered, and tested to guaranteed Rc of 59-61 by Peters of Meadville, PA.
The knife weighs 2.5 ounces wrapped with lanyard, and 3.5 with it's sheath (set up for small tek lok.) There is approximately 7 feet of 550 para-cord used in wrapping each knife.
Knives are $79. MO, Paypal, CC, etc are fine. Shipping FREE Conus and APO, I will ship internationally at cost.
I finally have small tek loks in stock... they are $10 extra. The RSK is set up for the small tek lok.
Thanks for looking, John Landi
