They are like Seagulls in Alaska. I see hundreds every year a few miles outside of town and in town for that matter.

Not sure how far you are from Mt Weather (that not so secret government complex in VA) but when I was there last spring they had three documented nested families (?) of bald eagles on the grounds.

I am not sure. I dont know what or where your talking about?

Here are the pics that had the young eagle in them. ITs toward middle to bottom left. Look at how its natural color blends right in with the bark of the tree and its moss.
