You should check out Clay's site, balisongxtreme.com and see if your better than him. He can do three balisongs in one hand.

Three!? Now thats good!

Clay is GREAT no doubt!!!! So, you are a MASTER. HHMMMM... my guestion to you, If you are a master then would you not be aware of current laws, myths and misrepresentations of your art and strive to promote the goodness of it instead of adding to the statistics on street thugs whom aimlessly add to the city military's "not so pleasant" view of these knives?

I think that if you wish to become a master in the bastangas that you should first broaden your ideas on how you wish the art to be conceived by you peers.

Well your highness, I don't mean to be stepping on anyones toes here, but you said that you've gotten a lot of your knives taken away by the police already. That's no big deal because you keep getting more. That leads me to 2 conclusions: 1.) You have a lot of money, because you can afford to keep replacing those 42's (or perhaps even better, like old-school BM's, PC's or BS's). In that case, I'd really like to become closer friends with you. Or, 2.) All you buy are POS imports and jags (jags aren't quite POS's) which limit you in the first place and leaves you, like myself and most everyone else here, a lot left to learn.

Some people just know how to make an entrance.

Our new friend does raise an interesting question, though: who is the greatest?

I can think of only one way to find out:
K I T A I B R A N I!

The Oregon Knife Show, April 21 and 22, Eugene, Oregon. Be there!

I haven't decided how we're gonna judge this thing. Suggestions are welcome. Are there skill classes? Catgories, maybe single bali, double bali, multi-bali? Let's here those suggestions!

The Balisong Challenge 2001.

You could have a mandatory manipulation routine where all contestants go through a fixed sequence of bali manipulations. They will be judged on how well they perform.

Of course the last one would be the Free-Style. Anything goes. The contestants can even do their routines with background music wearing their favorite costumes.

This could be the start of something big, the olympics even.

Sabo makes a great point. To seek to master anything, one must also seek to master oneself. Humility is a virtue that you seem to have missed. There are many great Balisong artists here. I'm not sure you understand the company you are in.

Do I sense a 13 year old Instigator?

I am not that good at flipping the butterfly yet.

But I bet I can whip most of you at knife throwing.

Just playing

I agree, remember pride goes before a fall.

Confidence is good! Over-confindence makes you BLEED! I would hate to think of losing one of my PC or Valor Bali's. I would think of calling the suicide hotline if I lost a BM42, and two of them at that. Anyway, I agree with the video. Make one!
