Hey guys, here's an oldie but goodie. Bali-Song, Inc. Jody Samson weehawk. It's an early model, as evidenced by no (R) by the butterfly. It features a hand-ground weehawk blade by Jody Samson, and brass handles with black/red micarta inserts.
This knife has been carried and used, but is still in good condition. It flips well, the handles are not overly loose, and it latches strongly in the closed position. The tang pin is nice and round, not dented, and the tang cups are in decent shape.
There are scratches on the handles and blade. There is some pitting at the very edge of the tops of the handles, and particularly on the latch.
Overall it is a nice example of one of the old Bali-Song, Inc. custom shop balisongs. The blade still shows the late Jody Samson's great hollow-grinding talent.
