Bali-Song USA butterfly knife. Blade is the 4" hollow ground clip point and is 3/16" thick stock. Stainless skeletonized handles. This knife has been used, sharpened, and flipped. It has flipping marks on the latch, consistent with a bali song with no latch gate and batangas latch configuration. I purchased it from an individual who had received it from his father, who had acquired the knife in 1985. I know the father was LEO, but don’t know how he actually came to own the knife. So I am unsure of the history between it's original purchase and '85. This knife does not have the ® by the butterfly. What I find quite interesting about this knife, is the tight latch-up both opened and closed, and that it has almost no handle slop. I feel this is pretty impressive for a knife of this age that has actually seen use in those many years. It is obviously built in a very robust manner.
The only thing regarding condition that I consider to be outside of the "normal wear" classification, is small/shallow gouges by and around the 2nd/3rd hole on one side of the bite handle. Pics can kind of illustrate this, though they are somewhat blurry (I have decided I hate my camera for any close-up/detail work).
Price is $SPF shipped with insurance via USPS Priority Mail.
NO Trades, I need the cash, or I'd be keeping the knife.
Pay by paypal or MO.
PM or email with questions.
