So this is the first Bali I made. Completely maintenance free pinned and penned sandwich construction. Completely made from .187" 1095. Weighs 11.7 ozs. This is not a sporting Bali, it is a brute of a utility folder that happens to have 2 handles. Nathan Dewey compared it to a 29 in terms of durability. Comes with suede lined leather sheath.

$120 shipped.

You know, there are so many ornate and refined knives here absolute beauties... then there's you. This beast... unrefined and brutal... what you make is like a working mans knife callus... and honest, in my eyes it's like all it wants to do is be used... I love how when I look at this knife it makes me a little bit afraid... This is what EDC knives long to be!
BRAVO!
Now too bad I can't use it... I'll cut another finger =( damn near lost one the last time I played with a Bali~

In all seriousness it's a great looking piece

Thanks, that's my philosophy exactly. I don't make no safe queens!

I kind of wish you hadn't written on the blade. But you did keep a consistent theme going with the scratched on letters. I think you may be to improve the look a little by having non-uniform holes on the handle instead of perfect little circles. Not sure how you'd do it, but it would look even more brutish. I wouldn't mind having one of these, if you can make a pocket EDC version.

Looks like this one is sold.

Ditto. Never had a Truck or Harley that was a show-worthy ride, but by damn do they do what I expect. I like your knifebuilding philosophy :)

Received the bali today. The pictures do not do this thing justice, what a beastly knife. Has a nice weight to it, and feels indestructible. So far any of the tasks i have brought before it have been taken care of with ease. Holds a nice edge and demands to be used. Planning to EDC this, and have had trouble putting it down since the mail man brought it. It opens so smoothly.

What a great blade and for a great price. Thanks again! Anyone thinking about getting one, do not hesitate!

Good to hear! I'm definitely keeping him in mind come next knife (gotta recoup from a gun or two...or three, over the holidays). I'm a jeep kinda guy...stuff that will do whats asked of it, when asked, and not give a damn if it hasn't been polished in a few months. You'll be hearing from me by summer Charlie Mike :D
