Most of my friends know that I collect Microtechs but the truth is I love balisongs more than anythings else.

Here are pictures of some of my balisongs. All knives are BM/PC.

Here is another picture. The top one is a 5 in. The last 2 are 3 in and they are #5 & #9 of the first 50 balisongs. They are hand engraved "#5(9) of 50, Jody Samson".

Holy s**t! Those are super sweet!! Out of curiousity, how much did you get the kris for? Also, post some of your Microtech knives, too... I love those also.

sorry, I edited this message because I spelled "kris" like "kriss" again... I can't help it, I'm too used to it.

I almost soiled my pants when I saw those! Finally, a mariner blade (besides the one in booshank's catalog) that is freakin' awesome!! Everyone, the very top picture, look at the very top bali, it's edge is turned upward yet you can see the tang stamp!! Those are absolutely magnificent!!! So, you're a dealer now huh?!?

Very nice collection, indeed.

The first one is expecially unique in that the logo is on the back of the blade. That is very unusual.

Jeffrey, what a way to come back with a post.
These are as nice as your incredible MT's.

BTW, the top knife has Corby blade, and I believe the others were ground by Jody Samson.

KentDog, I don't really remember how much I paid for the kris but I believe it was $375 about 2 years ago. BM/PC balisongs were not difficult to get at that time but I was so stupid I didn't grab everything I could fine.

Rick, glad to see you here. It has been a while since my last post. Now I have more free time so I'll visit forums often and post more.

Those are great! From the GOOD conditions of the balis on the pix, you have your use balisong beside them?

Just when you think that you're starting to get a decent collection, you see something like this and think to yourself, "Great, that's just great."

Honestly, that's a pretty sweet collection.

I agree that the first pic is quite strange.. apart from spearpoints I have not seen a 'switch' liek that...

if you do not mind me asking.. can you tell us the handle materials on those babies?? I can't identify the wood on that top one..

I didn't post much but I try my best to read as many posts as possible everyday. I always enjoy the posts here, and I'm a regular visitor of Chuck & Clay's website since their early days.

I didn't know the logo is on the opposite side until the day I took the picture. Maybe it's a left handed?
smile.gif
It has cocobolo handle and the bosters are mirror polished. The second one in the first picture has micarta with engraving of flowers and butterflies on the handle and bosters. The blade is mirror polished.

The first one of 2nd picture has a 5" Wee Hawk blade and the false edge is sharpened. Second one has the bowie blade. Third and fourth one are the same with Wee Hawk blade and sharpened false edge. They are 3" and have Jody's signature and serial numbers engraved on the blade.

In the third picture, top one has the "synthetic black mother of pearl" handle material and bottom one has micarta. Both of them have polished bosters.

Wow, those are some sweet balisongs! I especially like the MOP mariner. Looks kinda like acrylic.
