Thanks for looking

Just wanted to let people know that I have one of Bob's knives, very similar to this but without the etchings and made in O-1, and me and my friends have used it well and it came through with flying colors. I was so confident of it after some use that I lent it to a friend last summer for him and his housemates in upstate New York to use for 6 months. None of them were experienced knife users and I didn't bother to put any restrictions on their usage, so among some real work like yard clearing, camping, and deer and turkey dressing, they did some very inappropriate things with it. Like one guy used it as a throwing knife against a maple tree. He managed to crack the wood handle in one of the spinning throws where the handle hit the tree, but he didn't do any damage to the point in the throws where the knife stuck. (I told them to stop throwing the knife when I heard about it.) It now resides in my bug out bag as a knife that I can depend on in emergency situations.

Thanks for the pro mo GV, sounds like some of your freinds don't have much respect for you property and kindness, restrictions or not, seems to me the guilty party should have atleast offerd to have it repaired. Thanks again, Bob

You guys missed this one. Good thing Bob has a 19.95 digital camera. I do not think I was to say that.

Be well
Floyd

The back side looks like a shadow but, it is buffed to a high polish on the hardened area and mat above. This is a great start for a first time etch.
Bob has a lot of knowledge, he will share but works full time. He lives a bit from J and Tess Neilson. What is on the burner Bob ? Something really cool ?

Be well
Floyd

Thanks Floyd, There are just to many projects I wish to do, I dont know where to start, Folding Bowie or Chinese Sword????
