Ball Lock.

I have the basic idea of how it works, but I have some questions.

1. does the lock itself syop the blade in the closed position, or is there a stop pin? Same for open.

2. I'm guessing the ball wedges itself in between the spacer and the tang of the blade, is this correct?

3. Who thinks it would be sexy to have the casing to be of metal, and more thumbstudish looking more like that of the axis type? haha.

and does anyone have any drawings/diagrams of it?
