Ballistol again.

The water has now completely evaporated leaving an oily residue
that has small lumps with a grease like appearance. The lumps when picked out are soft and oily and when compressed forms an oily residue that absorbs into the skin well. I put some of it on an old Kabar Barlow with bone handles to see what effects it will have on it.
When the residue is stirred the lumps dissolve back into the mixture making it just a tad thicker with the consistency of a light STP making it more tenacious.
There is a very light clean odor to the residue that's not unpleasant at all.
Instead of wasteing it I will put it on something to see what its effects may be.
