Any modern lubricant designed to keep machinery operational when running at 1200-6800rpms and at several hundred degrees, will work fine on your knives (and guns). The rest is just overkill and marketing.
Anyone really thinks that 5-20 weight motor oil that is used in an automobile isn't enough to keep a pivoting device from working? There may be a case for CLP type products, which removes accumulated carbons, but lubes are just lubes.
