Banana peel bone

Some of my favorite traditional folders are in Banana peel colored bone. I want to use that on a knife but have looked at all the usually suppliers. Does anyone know where I could find it jigged or smooth

over 150 views, Dang I was hoping somebody would know something,the search goes on, how would I go about dyeing it.

I haven't checked but WSSI might do yellow dye. Good luck finding what you're looking for.

Use Tandy's buckskin dye and let the bone soak for 3 days and one day to dry.

I agree with what Jim said. Here's one I soaked in Fiebing's yellow oil dye. On the surface it's dark, but as you can see on the edges, when you grind the outer layer away, it's lighter underneath.

Nice folder, i really like the random jigging, the yellow dye looks good.
