band saw trouble! help

im cutting some steel using the vertical cut. but the saw wont go all the way down to finish the cut.

nothing is blocking it i have just cut some handle blocks out and didnt make any adjustments to it.

tried putting steady pressure on it with some weight and nothing

tried putting hand pressure and pop off comes the blade from the track

this is anealed 5160 just a little over 1/8 thick
 
been putting sharpy marks on the blade where it jumps track and its never jumped yet in the same place tonight

i went old school and used the dremel to finish

just getting at me this is the 1st time ive used it like this
 
this happens at work occasionally, usually due to a build-up of cuttings on the bottom stop. Also a possibility the bearing backing the blade is worn or out of adjustment.
