Band saw -What to choose?

I would like to seek your advice about band saw.I want to buy new or used band saw and did not spend more than $350-400.

I know a ton of folks, including myself, that have the "$179" model available everywhere...Harbor Freight, etc...they are inexpensive, work great for the price and don't take up a ton of room in your shop. They have 64 1/2" x 1/2" blades you can get from anywhere as well. That is about your only real option if you want to stay in that price range.

my local lowes was clearancing dewalt portable bandsaw's for 200 or so and with the ten percent off coupon (change of address packet at the post office) it was pretty cheap.

This band saw retails for $435.00, but they have sales regularly on them. I currently own one and think it was well worth the money.
