Very nice, excellent use of an existing tool, I love the portabands but they are a bit hard to keep straight. Did you use existing holes to mount it or make some new ones?

Good creative thinking right there. Nice job.

That shops not messy. I can still see some of the benchtop. :p

Very smart mounting of an occasional use tool. Great idea of using a very stable base for a second task. I will remember this idea.

Good idea. Bet the socket for the MAP arm on my KMG would work perfectly to hold it.

Once I have the spare money for a portaband I think I'll copy this idea. Thanks!

It is only conneccted at one end for now Im working on another mounting point but it is useable at this mounting point

Yeah I have been a bowhunter for about 20yr, oddly enough I found this forum through a bowhunting forum

Nice job! I already have a portable bandsaw. Hmmm... I was thinking of somehow rigging it up so I don't have to buy a freestanding metal bandsaw. A po'man's metal bandsaw is better than no bandsaw.

Now that's just slicker than snot on a doorknob. I think I'm having a "why didn't I think of that" moment.
