I can't find a 64 1/2 inch bandsaw blade that will cut out my pofiles for nothing. I am using 1/2 inch 18tpi and they suck. What exact blade should i be using and where to buy it.

What kind and thickness steel are you cutting with a bimetal blade? I've never used a bimetal blade that could go 1/4" into a 1/8" thick piece of 1095 without the teeth tearing out. I tend to cheap out on blades, sandpaper, the disposable stuff, though.

A hair over 1/4” is the thickest I’ve tried to cut. It’s not the fastest process, but it works well. It goes through 1/8” quick enough.
Just take the time to break the blade in right.
For sandpaper I love Rhynowet Refline and it’s pretty cheap when bought in bulk.
I cheap out on alot of stuff too, but some things are worth the money.

the ones I am used to were 1" wide and about 110" long. just make sure the teeth are pointed in right direction.

For my use, a 24 TPI blade works best. I use Starrett bimetal blades, but Lenox blades are very good.

I just ordered 2 blades for my big saw. Thy are 6-10 teeth per inch bi-metal Lenox blades that are 130" long.

KBC tools is where I get all of mine, starrett pro die blades. I have a 14" delta vertical. I cut 2.5" thick steel on it yesterday with no problem, blade is couple months old.
