Got some knives back from Ban today.:D And I must say, it's worth the wait and expenses. I made a mess of a couple of these, rock damage, sharpening mishaps etc... Long story short, it was Ban to the rescue, thank you Ban.:D

Clip point... SARSQUATCH! I've heard a few refer to the Squatch as being ugly, hmmm.:p

Nice. Looks like you took a bit off the GW's nose. Brought the point down a bit?

I don't think the Squatches are ugly. I think your's is now a bit better looking than the rest though. It really looks better with that top clip/swedge removed. I like swedges. I like clips, But the Squatches felt more like an after thought. It was not a neat clean one.

I almost sent Ban my SS a while ago for him to work his magic when I saw Soup Monger's ss mod. But I figured heck, I will try my own hand. I took the reverse curve out of the blade, and hand convexed the edge. Now it is a FrankenSS. Ugly as sin.

I think I need a swedge on my GW. If I try to do that my self, it will definately be uber-ugly.

Uber ugly, Lol.:p I had a drunken episode with my GW and my belt sander, needless to say I don't use that bastid (belt sander) anymore. I still drink though.:cool: And yes, I trashed the tip, Ban hooked it up though.

Ban does such precision, beautiful work. Those are great. I did a Sarsquatch Bowie some time ago, but Ban's is nicer!

Did either you or Ban treat those FBM scales with something? - They look Awesome too.

What color scales are those? They appear brown. (?????)

My favorite micarta color is the darker brown. I wish that were standard.

Those are G-10 scales on the Mistress right? I am interested to hear of the new edge on it. Do you think it will be more effective yet somewhat durable?

They were not treated, and they are red and black G10.
