Those are G-10 scales on the Mistress right? I am interested to hear of the new edge on it. Do you think it will be more effective yet somewhat durable?

To partially answer your question yes, I feel the FFBM will be more effective when chopping (although it was scary effective from Busse), my Banned CGFBM devours almost anything you put in front of it. Slicing should be improved, thanks to the frosty satin. As for edge durability there are mixed opinions, I'm not nearly versed enough to tackle that one. I will tell you these are scary sharp, Kevlar gloves will be worn, no more emergency room visits for me... if I can help it (as I knock on wood).
