This had the bevels on it at one time untill they were taken off and Ban put a satin finish on it. The handles were removed and put back on. It has a nice convex edge on it with a long swedge that runs about halfway across the top. It has been used on some branches but the edge is fine, no dings. There are some discolorations on the knife, some were picked up in the pics. Nothing that couldnt be buffed out if you were inclined to do so.
