Barbersville Falls Hike Pics

Took a couple of the kids out for a short hike to the site of an old mill. The falls are something, at least 100 feet high,pretty impressive!

Four kids, a teenage girl, an 8 year old boy, and twin 5 year old girls.... The three young ones like hiking.. My son was a good sport, he finished a 5K run, and still wanted to go...

That looks a great place to visit, I bet it would be nice to take a picnic in summer !!!

Good for him! He must be a tough lil bugger....my 2 boys are in the middle teens and want to do just about anything I want to do. Makes for good times and lots of laughing.

No, my dogs usually don't go. They don't like the car very much and my English Bulldog is what you would call "athletic". My PB is, but we don't separate them, and they have the run of my property, so they are not missing much!

I promise you that water is cold!! When I was kid, my buddies and I would jump into the water in April and lie to each other: "No, its really not that bad" , which was probably true for spring fed waters in upstate NY (take your damn breath away).
