Hi guys

Here are some little guys I whipped up today, I broke down and picked up a 1x30 grinder(kinda miss my 2x 72)and got these guys fully complete and another couple blades heat treated,

They are about 6 inches long with a 2 and 1/2 inch blade scandi ground with a touch of a secondary bevel just to get them "holy $hIt" sharp, there made out of 1/8 1075 and even though the paracord looks black it is actully green, I wanted to give them a rough feel free to use me kinda look like the old school Striders

I am going to try and get them over to my buddy Normarks for some kydex pants tomorrow hopefully , I am trying to make a few more peices that aren't as labour intense as the forge work so I can keep prices down.

I really love the imput form you guys, you can tell that you guys really use your knives and in my book that pretty cool.

so let me know what you think

Love 'em. Especially the bottom one with the rounded end. Start crankin' those out.

PERFECT survival kit knives or EDC knives. Simple clean looking design.

what sort of pricing you thinking?

edit: i like the bottom one too

Those look very handy and functional Jim. Bare bones and all utility - my kind of necker for sure. Can't wait to see them in kydex. I like the squared up grind line at the blade/handle junction of the middle one the best. Give my best to Eric.

Those look great Wade! Normak will make some great pants for those as well...I too like the one on the bottom with the more rounded butt; great spear-pointed scandi grind!!!

man. those are cool.. i really like them... they look like perfect all around EDC knives..

Those look sweet jimi..... how do you keep the wrap from slipping forward with usage? Normark is comming to my place tomorrow afternoon for a hang and bang...

I really like the shape of those!!

Rick

Thanks guys

Magnussen, a little crazy glue goes a long way when cord wrapping, Tell Eric to give me a call,

Bushman5 , I am thinking around 100 bucks with On/scene sheath.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I know which design I will be using, If I can get these sold I order some more 1/8 steel and see how many I can make.

I like as well and would be interested in purchasing depending on price.

Steel is 1095?

Since you asked for feedback, the only suggestion I have is lower the tip so it is inline with the center of blade. This would aid in drilling and fine work. I would also prefer not having the second bevel.

I would like to see some with a whole bunch of holes drilled for lighter weight.

Eric's sheaths seem to work particularly well for small neck knives. I have OST sheaths for my little Strider ED ,2 Spyderco Mule's ,and a bunch of other neck knives. and I love them.
They would work great for those little users.

Thanks guys
