These are all good knives with great pricing. Around $40 give or take.
This poll isn't about "which one is best".
It's very simply a poll to determine - If you had to pick one of these knives, which one would it be and why.

There are obviously other very capable, fair priced knives that are not on the list.
Just pick other and explain in your post why you picked it.

btw...I voted Tenacious. The Cryo would get my vote hands down if it was just a little bigger.

I 'd pick the cryo because I don't have one and it is just a sweet little folder. Wish it had a bit better steel but other than that it's a kershaw with the best customer service in the industry, designed by rick hinderer himself and it is fun as heck to flip! Good deep carry pocket clip, and a stabilizer. All that for a low price. I can't think of another knife in that price range with all that that offers at this moment. Close second is the rat for me. If it is too small the bigger brother will be out soon!

I wouldnt choose any of them, For that price range i would choose something from cold steel.

kershaw leek. it sharpens up really fast on my home made knife sharpner. it is made in the USA. is is just as fast as a switchblade. it is very thin. you hardly know it is in your pocket when you carry it.

Got two CRKT Drifters today...one of the G10 and the other steel framelock. Been comparing and testing them out on some cardboard and I am very impressed. So far, they are both excellent for around $20 each. Factory edge wasn't the best but for $20 my expectations were low.

Have to decide what is the bargain price range. Some guys on here are quicker to spend $150 on a knife than others are to spend $50.

Assuming under $50, I selected SAK and would choose one of those or Cold Steel Voyager. Next pick from a different brand would be Rat 1.

The Bucklite folder series can handle anything that my high-end folders can handle...all for $18.

I picked OTHER..as in Spyderco Persistence..the Tenacious middle bro. Its a great price & great blade size for edc in NYC. Fits my hand nicely too. If the Rat1 was smaller, it would be a hard decision though !

I was thinking under $40

It was a very tough call. I wanted to vote SAK, but I didn't. Perhaps I just take for granted the spectacular quality that is mass-produced by Victorinox with astounding consistency. :o

My vote: the Ontario RAT-1. The more knives I own, the more impressed I am by the RAT-1. Best value of the decade, imo. Decent materials, great build-quality, amazing price-point.

I don't have experience with all the knives there. Only Tenacious, RAT 1, SAKs and a bunch of 'Other's.

RAT 1 got my vote. I honestly think its the best knife in the price range. It might be a little big for edc depending on where you are and type of work you do but it's solid.

I picked Skyline, but could have just as easily gone SAK. The Skyline carries and handles great (slim, lightweight, grippy textured G10 scales, smooth flipper action, excellent slicer). The SAK is just an overall great value (I carry a Super Tinker). They're well built and offer great utility from the assortment of implements in them.

Maybe when the cryo 2 comes out it would be my choice. I keep finding older models Spyderco natives in the $30 range so I picked other.

Everyone needs a SAK Explorer. The phillips fits tekloks perfect, 2 blades for everyday use, & the magnifying glass is just too handy!

Personally I would choose Tenacious then Rat-1. Based on what other people write I could choose the Cryo and Skyline after that, but those 2 are too small for my current tastes. I don't know if I will ever own a SAK, and there aren't any Buck knives that I want right now.

I pick the Tenacious because, out of the two knives from all of the choices that have reversible pocket clips it has the best size/weight ratio. Otherwise, I might pick the Cryo.

SAK all the way. Most useful package, now for tacticool the others will do.
