I know there are some makers out there who plan each step of the process meticulously and know from the beginning how a knife is going to look in the end, that's not me. In this case I finished the steel of the knife and then spent hours going through the massive collection of handle material to find the set of slabs that fit the knife. This set of bark mammoth ivory slabs simply spoke to me with this piece.
This is a slip joint 3 1/4" long closed and 5 3/4" long open. The integral bolster and body are 416 with a 154CPM blade and back spring. It uses the Dellana Dot grip system for ambidextrous opening. It is a snappy little blade with a medium to medium hard pull.
