Just a cost comparison. Large Limited Sebenzas, Thuya Burl versus Mammoth Ivory bark; I paid over $200 more for the Bark. Both are very nice woods but the Bark is in limited supply compared to Thuya.
The truth is, however, that the price is driven by the limited supply vs the high demand. The dealer who charges $100 more than retail does so because people do pay it!
I remember when the Hybrid cars first came out. Toyota dealers around here were getting $5k over sticker.
