I am thinking about getting this knife as my second barkie, already got a bravo-1,
i am wondering if it is good for bushcraft task and the like, whittling, and EDC.
it looks like a really good knife and the fact that the tip is rugged draws me even more to it.

It's very small. Have you handled one? I bought one for my daughter to carry for SD.

It sounds to me like you might be confusing the original Blackwater Boot Knife with the Custom BBK II which is a much bigger tool.

It's a great little knife for all sorts of little tasks from steak knife to carpet cutter, I don't see how you can go wrong. It is small but an excellent EDC size.
