Bought as a regular 1.25 from KSF, who sent it to Bark River for customization before shipping to me. The knife is unused.
The blade has been shortened to 4.5" from the standard 5", and I asked them for the blade shape from their Springbok model, which is essentially a drop-point swedge.
The result is basically a longer, thicker Springbok II (minus the fuller/blood groove) with the more comfortable handle of the Bravo. So the best of both worlds. .25" longer than Springbok II, and .217" thick instead of .156". I had it made as an indestructible bushcrafter / hunter. Much more nimble than the standard Bravo 1.25, and able to tackle larger tasks and heavier duties than the Springbok II.
Beautiful ebony scales.
Comes with two sheaths, a Bark River which I treated with olive oil, and a simple sheath either from DLT or KSF, (can't remember) which I wet-formed to the knife. That sheath could probably use a waxing treatment.
Paid $280 (plus whatever the extra sheath cost), asking $250. Trades for similarly high quality fixed blades in the same size category considered. Thanks!
