Where did the OP "insult" or "ridicule" knife collectors?

I see an expression of disbelief or incredulity of the size of collections and levels of sharpness, but no insults.

Of course, if you read an insult, there's a button for that.

I did not

As usual these SAME guys are off topic.

RX you have good info on all posts. I hope you post more.

I have ordered the Bravo III. Will be here in a few days.

On the above Bark River on top near the point:What is the expert name for that distinct area? That notched piece.
I have seen few with this design

Are you talking about the swedge? I am not sure I follow but you said near the point so I am not seeing anything else.

A swedge is a section of a knife's spine, beginning at the point and extending generally one-third to one-half the length of the blade, which has been ground to give the appearance of a second edge (but without actually being sharpened).

That's a great idea Cray. Bark river has quite a few models that appeal to me.

Not sure what he is talking about either but yeah, that was a custom swedge the original owner had BRKT add on.

Even without serious insults, it is a waste of effort keeping a thread going when the participants obviously dont like or trust or believe each other. Maybe some future effort will work better. This one is just not working.
