A couple of fixed blades for your consideration....
The first person to post I'll take it without contingencies and a follow up e-mail will receive purchasing priority.
Please ask any questions prior to making a purchase commitment. My top priority is a hassle free transaction. I'll be more than happy to provide additional / higher resolution photos and discuss questions via PM, e-mail, or over the phone. I've done my best to accurately describe the condition of the knives I'm offering for sale, but there's always the issue of process variation and manufacturing tolerances inherent to this type of product so please inquire if there are issues of particular importance to you.
I will accept payment via USPS Money Order, or PayPal ("Purchase" type only, I will not accept PayPal Gift) with a confirmed address per the pricing listed. That being said, please be aware that if you have less then 5 positives as a buyer on itrader (or any negatives) I will prefer a US postal money order. I will ship via USPS w/signature confirmation and provide insurance to CONUS only.
I'm not interested in any trades at this time.
I reserve the right to not do business with any individual without explanation. All sales are as is, where is and without warranty (except as provided by the manufacturer). All sales are final. By purchasing this item you are stating that you are 18 years of age or older and abiding by all local, state and federal laws concerning the purchase, transportation and possession of this item.
Bark River Knife & Tool Custom 2007 Bird & Trout: This Knife is a first production run of the discontinued .065 inch Bark River Bird & Trout model. This knife is new, as received from the factory. It has not been used, sharpened, or inserted in a sheath. Here's some information from BRKT on this knife: The Bird & Trout is the field version of our Kitchen/Utility. The Knife has a light quick feel in the hand and its blade is just right for light tasks. The knife is compact and easy to carry on the belt. It will excel at fine work but it is not delicate. This knife features a modified Drop point hunting blade crafted of premium 12C27 Swedish Stainless Steel and full tang handle construction. OAL: 8 in, Blade Length: 3.6 in, Blade Steel: 12C27, Steel Thickness: .065 in, Weight 2.5 oz, Hardness: 59-60RC. This knife originally came with a Amboynia Burl Mosaic handle as noted in the picture of the box below. However, the handle had a crack in it so I sent it to BRKT. Since the handle had to be replaced I requested the material be changed to Antique Stag Mosaic. BRKT was accommodating and sent the knife back with a new handle that is not only more functional due to the texture, but also quite attractive as can be seen in the photographs. The knife includes the original box, packing material, sheath and invoice documenting the handle change. $160 USPS MO / $165 PayPal
Lightfoot Woodsman: I purchased this knife from Greg Lightfoot at Blade West in 2006. The knife is new, as received. It has not been used or sharpened. The specifications listed on Lightfoot Knives website are: OAL: 9 in, Blade Length 4 1/8 in, Elk handle, 154CM steel, Price: $450.00 US (and up) I measure the blade thickness at .195 in. The nicely made Lightfoot sheath the knife came with is included: $380 USPS / $393 PayPal
