Bark River Classic Drop Point Hunter CPM154 in beautiful curly Koa $OLD
Loved this knife aside from the terrible looking "theknifeconnection.com - 1 of 50" laser engraving just below the "1st Production Run" on the side opposite the normal "Bark River Knives - Escanaba, MI - CPM154". Consequently, I polished the whole blade with Flitz metal polish. In the right light all of these logos are still somewhat visible as they are laser engraved but you have to really look closely. I never used the blade though polishing with Flitz and paper towels dulled the edge a bit. I stropped it a bit but IMO it needs a good sharpening to get that razor edge. All this is reflected in the price. Sheath has been treated with Obenauf's Leather Preservative.
