Bark River collection photos!

Pro-Scalpel II (black canvas)
Fox River (tan burlap w/ matching firesteel)
Chef's Utility (maple burl)

My only bark river is a black g10 Clax -- I've use it a lot for limbing/removing small trees, hacking back wisteria, etc.

I have a Lil Canadian 3v in matte green canvas micarta, hollow pins, with a matching firesteel on order.

Yay!

For those of you that have the polished handles, how is the grip?

The only Micarta Bark River I own is my Bravo 2. The ergos on the handle are great and fit my hand well. Despite the polished finish, I have never had any problems with slipping.

There are some Bark River owners that "matte" the finish on their grips with fine sandpaper or scotch brite pads for a little extra hold.

Man there are some great blades showing up in this thread. I don't have a group shot either but here's a few...

In a fit of lunacy, I traded my two Barkies away awhile back.

I am ready for a new pocket fixed blade, and I am thinking either a Pro Scalpel or Mikro Drop Point for my KSF pocket sheath (a Vic Spirit goes in the second slot).

I had a Mini Canadian for quite some time, but it just wasn't pointy enough my edc uses.

I have to bump this because due to this thread I ordered a PSK w/ city sheath....

I love the Pro Scalpel. I have one with Blaze Orange G-10 in my KSF Pocano Pocket Sheath along with a Fenix LD01. The handle is nice and thicker than the Pro Scalpel II.

Here is my small Barkie collection.
A Golok, Fox River and Micro-Canadian field trio. All with Green Micarta and red liners. Carry method is baldric.
Bravo-1 with antique ivory grips and red liners.
Pro scalpel 2 prototype, black micarta and yellow liners.

Don't have any pics of mine, but I have 6 Barkies.
Golok, Bravo-1, PSK 154CM, STS-3, Mountain Man, and the new Custom Highland Special.
The edges are all just amazing on these knives. Each one like a razor, perfectly ground, and polished.
The only issue with any of them is the handle of the STS-3 has a slight gap on one of the scales. They are just screwed on, and I could put some epoxy in there if I was motivated or too worried about it.
I do find the polished G-10 to be kinda slick.
Oh, great sheaths as well!

Hell yeah man. How are you liking it? I find a tiny double knot of 550 cord makes the knife super easy to retrieve from the sheath.

I just ordered a Rising Wolf last night. Do I have a disease?

Probably need to put some cord on it like you, but I'll see how it is first. Just happy to be carrying a fixed blade again w/o worrying about the new co-workers.. darn city people...
