Bark River collections

Well, I am frugal... okay... cheap! I bought 'users' - made with utilitarian handles... okay, the cheapest version of each knife I could find - usually Micarta, an upgrade handle to most makers, anyway!

Here the first five are... never mind the Benchmade 201 Activator+ - the plus was it needed sharpening right out of the box - none of the Barkies do, that's for sure!

From L-R; Huntsman, Fox River, Gameskeeper, '07 LE North Star, and '07 T.U.S.K..

Okay, I haven't stopped - slowed a bit, just the following, a Bocote handled Boone (Yeah, I got a 'looker'!), since the others. There will be more...

Hey Bob W. what's the story with that tanto limited edition? I've not seen that one.

Jeff
I don't know if there is much 'story' them. They were made in small numbers in 2004/2005. Quality is excellent and they are made with full tapered tangs. Blades are of 440C steel. Unlike most Bark River knives, the Tanto blades are hollow ground. The models with the turquoise spacers were an exclusive for DLT Trading (as I recall).

Don't see these much any more so I just scanned my two for this topic:

And here is the original Bark River ad photo, for collector interest:
