Bark river essential?

didn't know where else to ask this since barkie doesn't seem to have its own forum.

Anyone got an essential? They look nice but id like to hear a user review since they have a high price tag. My bday is in a week so I want to give the wife a hint as to what to get so im trying to pick which high priced blade to tell her. And barkies have always caught my eye

Very nice, functional size.....a smaller knife that thinks it's a big boy. M4 steel, holds an edge....little tougher to sharpen tho.

I have 2 EDC Essentials....one in Elder Burl, 1 in Blue Glow/red liner...love em in the rotation. Great size for carrying, holds in the hand nicely.
