Bark River Gunny Hunter - $150 – 3V steel and macassar ebony scales; great condition, lightly used a few times, mineral oil applied to blade and wood. I’ve kept this in the sheath and noticed that parts of the wood come out of the sheath a little lighter from the leather drawing moisture and/or oils from the wood. These lighter areas go away with a little mineral oil or wood wax. I can't see it and it doesn’t show up in pictures but you can feel a very subtle, very slight shrinkage of the wood away from some parts of the edge of the tang. I also do not feel it when I’m holding the knife but only if I deliberately run my finger across from once scale to the tang to the other scale. The first two pictures look a little odd on the handle but the last two pictures are close ups of the scales and show they look flush to the eye.
