Ive tried to describe everything that Id want to know from a seller if I was considering a purchase. If youd like additional pictures or descriptions, just let me know. If you do buy a knife and feel like it was not adequately described and you are not satisfied with the transaction, please let me know as I will be happy to work with you to resolve the issue.
Bark River Gunny - A2, Blaze Orange G-10 with Black Liners, Rampless - WITHDRAWN///$175
Like new in box, never used, never carried. The sheath included is the newer style of Gunny sheath that is larger overall and has a larger belt loop than the sheath usually sold with the A2 Gunnys. I have inspected the knife and it is in excellent condition with no noticeable issues except for a very small and very slight deviation or dip where the handle scale is not flush with the tang. It is on the top of the knife near the front of the handle on just the right side. The 7th picture is a close up of this area and has an arrow pointing to the dip. While I can feel it with my thumb when I rub across it, I do not notice it when I am just gripping the knife. I do not think it is a real problem but if you did, I would think you could ask Bark River to address it. There are also some very minor impressions or scuffs on the sheath that you can see in the picture. Overall Length: 8.4; Blade Length: 3.775; Steel Thickness: .154; Weight: 5.625 oz; Hardness: 58RC
Bark River Northstar Companion - A2, Macasser Ebony - SOLD///$120
Knife and sheath are in great condition. Used once to carve and whittle a bit and also used the jimping on a firesteel. Cleaned up very nice but as shown in the 2nd and 3rd pictures, there is some light, superficial scratching on the blade and around the tip. This is a stout, big small knife that is designed to be a real working tool that can handle serious chores. The jimping throws a lot of sparks.
Overall Length: 7.125; Blade Length: 3.250; Steel Thickness: .150; Weight: 4 oz; Hardness: 58RC
