Bark River K&T what's best for bushcraft

With due respect, Mollyssurvival, the question the title of your thread poses is backwards. The correct way to pose the questions is:

Bark River - which one isn't best for bushcraft?
that's funny...but from what i'm seeing i guess your right :)
It also depends if you desire hunting qualities in your bushcraft knife.
A more bellied Highland or Kephart would outperform a narrower Northstar or Aurora for skinning....
no hunting but can always make due, I've skinned with a sak (not good but works)

Aurora. I think the owner and knife maker of Bark River uses and recommends it for Bushcraft.

I really like my rampless gunny. It fits really well in my medium hands, better than the aurora which is fatter. It's also priced really nicely for a basic black micarta model.

Bark River has so many good bushcrafters its hard to choose. I have a Full Tang Kephart, the Canadien Special, and a rampless Gunny. The Kephart isn't flashy, but it has an incredibly comfortable handle and works great. The CS is Mike Stewart's favorite bushcrafter; hard to argue with the designer of the knives. And the rampless Gunny is an incredibly versatile knife. If you carry a pack the Gunny in a bushcrafter sheath is the route to go. Any of these are a good choice.

How about these two?

Any of the top four (or any in the picture for that matter!) would do. From the top:
- Bravo-1
- Northstar (comes with compass on blade so you always know which way is North) ((( :D )))
- Highland Special
- mini-Northstar
- mini-Skinner (Oregon myrtle)
- mini-Skinner (black micarta)
- mini-Canadian

Or the big one (Canadian Camp) here:

There isn;t a BRKT, that I'm aware of, that would NOT serve well as a bushcraft knife. HOWEVER! As much as I love Barkii, I prefer a scandi-grind myself:

you guys have givin' great insight on this. I'm leaning towards the aurora or nothstar & now just gotta find a place I can play with 'em :)

stretch I don't know what the 2 on the bottom are but I like 'em :D

The Northstar is a (relatively) lightweight blade compared to the Aurora, and the Aurora, in addition to more weight, is larger. Both very stout and pointy. Excellent bushcraft blades, either one.

You may not have much luck finding them in shops where you can "fondle" them. Maybe somewhere up north, but down in my area nobody sells Bark River and, if they do, they don;t stock them. Best bets for buying? DLTtradingcompany and knivesshipfree, I think.

Molly, the two scandii are EnZo Trapper blades from BensBackwoods. I buy the blades and then put my own scales on them. Thee ones in the picture are ebony and cocobolo (rosewood), both with mosaic pins and lanyard tubes added.

Ka-bar BK9 is a big bad knife, I love mine but I've had a Sog seal knife 2000 for well over ten years now and it is still in awsome shape and I have used the hell out of this knife.
