Bark River knives?

So selling knives in the wrong steel isn't the disgrace? Is mike stewart stealing from Brian Evans a disgrace?

The thread is a disgrace but not those other things? Peculiar.
I have not shared an opinion regarding the aforementioned allegations, - so please do not jump to conclusions. I simply voiced my support of Jamboi's observation that this thread was derailed and sidetracked. The OP was looking for advise on which BRKT (Aurora vs other BRKT) knife to buy,- instead he was bombarded with 11 pages of BRKT bashing.

Oh, I see. Facts regarding a company/person that are brought up in a discussion forum is bashing.

Believe it or not some people like to know who they are buying from and are grateful others bring things up. Some people.

Others don't give a flying hoot. Shrug.

I'll continue to inform people for when some one who cares drops by. Good day.

Selling knives in the wrong steel could be a lot of people's fault and I think mike stewart is the least likely to blame. If I had to guess I would say it's the persons fault that is labeling the knives. Probably just an honest mistake from someone that bust there ass 8-10 hours a day five days a week for a paycheck that barely gets them by. That person also probably has a family to feed and take care of... do you also think they should be fired?

Fact is a bit of a stretch wouldn't you agree!? What was presented is more of a hearsay than facts. No one showed us a footage of MS personally stamping A2 steel with CPM154 stamp. But that is besides the point OP did not ask about personal character of MS or BRKT business practices as far as I can tell.

Long hours? Try deploying somewhere, being an EMT, Doctor etc. I've hashed it out with you before (in this thread actually) and discourse with you pointless. Good day.

No I wouldn't agree. It is a fact mike stewart took money from Brian Evans and basically destroyed his knife business. He is a member here on the forum and it's well documented. Completely factual.

As to his company repeatedly mislabeling steels, I have my opinion on why it is being done but my opinion isn't fact. What is a fact is it keeps happening and even his main dealers are frustrated and fed up.

And cpm154 rusting from fruit? In minutes? If you think that's normal, good sir, hell no, it most certainly isn't.

I think you have me confused I'm not one to "hash" it out on forumns or over the internet. If your a doctor that's awesome l, I have of respect for the things you have went through and accomplished to get to where you are now but with that being said even someone who has dedicated part of their life to their job could make a mistake like that whether it be because of long hours or just simply over looking something. I get tired of seeing where bark river mis labels their knives myself just because I like there knives and have had good experience with them. Shit happens though and I've seen no actual proof of anything ms has done that was straight up dishonest or fucked Up.

Everyone that is not a first responder or a soldier is a lazy bum, and has no say.....I see what you did there

These knives are popular for a reason. I personally am not feeling the company/owner...got a bad vibe

Apparently you didn't see. Not all jobs work equal hours. But hey, keep thinking you "see" what I did.

Oh my. Two exclamations?!?

Lol. Looks like you're the one who needs to "get over it". Calm down, take breath.

Is the story about the U.S. Marines contacting BRK to build them a knife true? The Bravo 1. Or is it all just BS from BRKnives?

I don't know how they phrased it, but keep in mind it's entirely possible that the truth is somewhere in between. I've found that those stories are often that the CO of a single unit of whatever size contacted X and asked for Y knife.

Also, semi-off topic side note, I'm deeply suspicious of BRKT and don't know if I would ever give them my money, but maaan, their take on the MACV-SOG bowie is sexy.

It's not bashing. It's not his thread and it's a forum for discussion and its on topic.

I Googled it and agree. Good looking knife for sure. Don't think I'd ever trust it is actually 3v steel though.
